Hair we share is a charitable organization that accepts hair donations that are used to create wigs for adults and children who are affected by hair loss caused by medical reasons. For over 30 years, wigs for kids has been providing hair replacement systems and support for children who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, alopecia, trichotillomania, burns and other medical issues at no cost to children or their families.

After researching, they didn’t find any organizations that were giving human hair replacements to children at no cost. While we accept hair donations of 12 inches or longer, we encourage you to donate 14+ inches of hair;   their wigs also come with a “care kit” so that children can maintain their wigs for many years.
